Jim "Snuffy" Smith- WNXT Radio Announcer

Jim “Snuffy” Smith. Jim is currently in his 28 th year broadcasting boys high school basketball games on WNXT out of Portsmouth. He has called over 850 basketball games in that time span. He has also served as the host of Saturday Morning SportsLine during the same period of time. Jim also officiated basketball games for 32 years. Jim served as coach at Sciotoville East High School for 17 seasons collecting 4 Southern Ohio Conference championships, 3 sectional titles, and 1 district title.
